Privacy Policy
Last updated September 29, 2026
This policy explains what information Spencer G. Todd, IV, doing business as RowDraft ("we") collects when you use RowDraft, how we use it, and the choices you have. In short: we collect what we need to run the Service, we don't sell anyone's information, and your documents are visible only to your workspace.
1. Information we collect
Account information. Your name, email address, and password. Passwords are stored only as a one-way scrambled value (a "hash"), so no one — including us — can read them.
Your content. The spreadsheets and documents you upload, the templates you build, and your settings for each project. This content often includes information about other people, such as clients', customers' or property owners' names, addresses, phone numbers, and account or property details. Finished documents you generate are created and sent to your browser for download; we don't keep copies of them.
Billing information. Your plan, credit balance, and a customer reference from Stripe. Card numbers and payment details are entered on Stripe's secure pages and stored by Stripe, not by us.
Usage and technical information. A record of how many documents each workspace generates (used for credits), and standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, and the time of requests, used for security and troubleshooting.
2. Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you logged in. It lasts up to 30 days, or until you log out. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
To see how many people visit and sign up, we use Plausible Analytics. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't collect personal information, and doesn't follow you across other websites — it counts visits, pages viewed, the site that sent you, and your general country and device type.
3. How we use information
- To provide the Service: store your projects, fill in and convert documents, and let your team work together.
- To run your account: sign-in, password resets, team invitations, billing, and credits.
- To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
- To send service emails, such as invitations, password resets, receipts, and important changes. We don't send marketing email without your permission.
We don't sell or rent personal information, we don't share it for advertising, and we don't use your content to train artificial intelligence models.
4. Information about other people in your content
When you upload a spreadsheet or document containing other people's information, you decide what is uploaded and why, and we process it only on your behalf to provide the Service. You are responsible for having a lawful reason to use that information. If someone asks us about their information in your workspace, we will refer them to you and help you respond where we can.
5. Who can see your information
Your projects are visible only to members of your workspace. We share information with the following companies only as needed to run the Service, under their own privacy and security commitments:
- Render — Hosts the RowDraft app and its database (United States) (privacy policy)
- Stripe — Processes payments and stores payment card details (privacy policy)
- Plausible Analytics — Counts website visits without cookies or personal data (European Union) (privacy policy)
- Resend — Sends account emails (invites, password resets, welcome emails) (privacy policy)
We may also disclose information if required by law or valid legal process, to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public, or as part of a merger or sale of the business (in which case this policy would continue to apply).
6. Where information is stored
Information is stored and processed in the United States.
7. Security
All connections to RowDraft are encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are hashed, login sessions and invite and reset links are protected with long random codes, and each workspace's data is kept separate. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your information, we will notify you as the law requires.
8. How long we keep information
- Projects are kept until you delete them or your workspace is closed.
- When you delete a project or we close an account, the data is removed from the live system right away. Backup copies are deleted automatically as our hosting provider's backups expire.
- Billing records are kept as long as tax and accounting laws require.
9. Your choices and rights
You can see and edit your projects in the app and delete them at any time. You can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, or delete your account by emailing support@rowdraft.com. Depending on where you live (for example, California), you may have additional rights under local law; we will honor them, and we won't treat you differently for using them.
10. Children
RowDraft is for business use by adults. It is not intended for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
11. Changes
If we make significant changes to this policy, we will email account owners before they take effect and update the date at the top of this page.
